Uh-oh

I need to get this off my chest....
Apparently, the(roughly)5mml sized hard lump in my left breast is not normal. Not sure where to go from here or what to think but I go back to a new doctor in 2 weeks and I am not sure what to expect. I haven't told anyone in my real life, for fear of upsetting Mark or the kids so I hope to update here if anything comes of it. Which I hope is nothing.
Anyone with any information or expierence with this is greatly appreciated.

I've had a lump in my breast since I was eighteen. It was scary having to have it checked out. I remember they tried to drain it, but there was no fluid, so it wasn't a cyst. They said it was good that it was hard, moved around, didn't hurt, and didn't change in size. It hasn't changed in all these years.

I totally remember how scared I was that I may have to have surgery to have it removed. I was too young to understand all that could have really happened back then. I'll be here for you, whatever the results may be. (((BIG HUG)))

Thanks for the reply Karen! My GP said that because it moved around and didn't have rough edges, was a good sign. It didn't change size/disappear during a menustration cycle, which I think he thought it would though.
Of course I can't help but think what it could be and hope its nothing.
I first felt it about a month ago but thought I might have a clogged duct or something. I wonder too if it might be a cyst. Guess we will see.
